[Warning Light] New to the berlingo world
#1
Hello all!

Just recently bought myself a silver 63 plate berlingo (75) with 33k miles and never been used as a work van and I'm really impressed with it but..... I'm wondering if anyone could shed some light for me, last week I was driving all day (350miles) and my EML came on twice which was p2562 "turboCharger boost control position sensor a circuit" I haven't lost power and Ive done a long journey since and the EML hasn't came back on at all

Any recommendation?

Many thanks!!!

Thanks for the reply Smile

Thought I'd service the van today and found my air filter in a bad state with a lot of leaves blocking the air flow, so with that changed hopefully I've found the problem

Thanks all

Welcome to the Berlingo world.
The fault with your van will likely be the waste gate position sensor. They fail frequently, I changed one last week for a customer with his Warranty wise warranty stumping up for the bill.
The part is @£190 + vat and my local dealer hub had sold nearly 200 of them this year already  Dodgy

Yes they do need coding in, however we fitted on a Fiesta today & it worked fine without, as we didn't have the facility to program in on a Ford. About 1 mile of driving sorted the faults out.
