Rear washer/ wiper randomly turning on

I had similar experience.  The washer could empty a full washer reservoir within a very short distance.
My solution was to try and move the wires around in the rubber sleeve which brings the wiring from the car to the tailgate.  For me, it appeared that the wiring was chaffing against something and triggering the sequence.  Once I moved the wires around a bit, then the issue stopped.
