Wiring for 12vdc socket in load area

Im suspecting that it has something to do with the towbar that has been fitted. Might be a light relay or something but there is a permanent 12vdc live been added from the battery under the car to the rear..

The only other way I guess would be to run a supply from the rear of the dash 12vdc socket to the boot as I think the same fuse would have supplied both anyway.

Its not the end of the world but we sometimes use a cool box and a small portable pressure washer as I use the car for moving bikes around mostly.

Annoying as the socket arrived today so was all set.. Ah well..
