Central locking!

I have a similar problem on my 2003 1.9D van. Normally I get a "Driver's Door Open" warning which only goes off if I manually depress the door lock switch. The central locking doesn't work at all but when I use the key fob or button on the dash the indicators activate and the red light comes on. I also can hear some noise from the driver's door.

The Hayne's manual is useless on this subject and at the moment I'm stuck as I don't have the correct Torx driver to remove the door panel and check the door lock.

Hi all new to the forum hoping for a bit of help 2003 berlingo 2.0hdi Central locking locks itself constantly if I close a door I then have to press lock on the key followed by unlock to get the doors to open again also the interior central locking button does not work at all key sometimes will not work either indicators randomly flash when van is locked and also sometimes if I unlock the van it instantly locks again so in a nut shell the central locking has a mind of its own any help or previous experience of this issue would be appreciated
