New Multispace Variant Concept: 'Mountain Vibe'
#1
Came across this article covering the Geneva Motor show, mentioned a new Citroen concept based on the Multispace family called the 'Mountain Vibe'. No dates apparently but a version will emerge at some point...

Reminds me somewhat of the Mini 'Countryman' edition of the Mini, a slightly more rugged, raised version of the classic.

Thoughts?

It's got the bulkier bits of trim on it to give that sort of rugged vibe...

It's not 4 wheel drive but does come with the standard 'Grip Control' that you can find on certain models.

It's an off-road looking version without the extended capabilities...

It looks like the designer got a highlighter pen for Christmas.

Snow chains are a good idea even if you have 4WD.

Not that I'd call whatever that is for snow chains...

THIS is what I'd use, if I could find a set that fits my Berlingo:

Unfortunately, they stopped making and selling them many years ago.
Idiots put the wrong size onto their cars(too wide or too narrow for their wheels), the things got loose and smashed up the wheel arches, and on one or two cases even damaged brakes.
Some even drove 'long distance' with them, and shook their cars apart.

As for the colours on that car...
Someone should tell the designers that Pre-teen girls generally doesn't buy all that many cars...

The 'rugged' descripton for this sort of car styling always makes me smile, it still dents or breaks when you hit something & probably does more expensive damage than hitting something with the standard version.
