Can you recomend a garage?
#1
Hi all,
Can anyone please recomend a reliable  garage to service my Berlingo in the Beds, Herts or surrounding area?  I have a Romahome campervan the base vehicle of which is a Berlingo First 1.6 hdi 75.  The service is the standard Citroen routine service of the base vehicle possibly with a timing belt and water pump change as well.  The family run garage I always used (experienced citroen mechanic, reliable,  efficient and completely trustworthy) has closed due to retirement and rather than taking pot luck with any citroen garage would prefer a personal recommendation if possible to find someone to look after my pride and joy.

On a recent web search I came across BL Auto & Son in Welwyn  Garden City as specialists in Citroens with  good reviews.  Anyone on here used them?
Thanks,
Terry.

Hi Terry welcome to to the forum, I have used Chevronic Centre over in Hitchin and they have been around for years and are very well known for their work on Citroens. They do all the modern Citroens and take on restoration of older stuff to. Have a look at their website https://www.chevronics.co.uk/
Ps I hve no connection to the garage just used them and appreciate good work.
Are we there yet????? Huh
Ex 1.6hdi van now 3 seater 1.4 multispace

Thanks Tomcat3, I'll give them a call.  I suppose I'm a bit paranoid  about who services it in view of the problems I've read about the turbo if wrong oil is used hence finding a garage who know what they are doing!  I usualy do my own oil and filter change every 6 months regardless of mileage just to keep the oil (Total Quartz  Ineo) as clean as possible but have the annual service done by a garage.
Cheers,
Terry.
