[Engine] Air in Fuel
#1
Every morning I have to manually bleed the fuel system a few seconds after it starts okay and then peters out. Once it is bled then it runs perfectly well throughout the day without issue. I've had the injector leak-off pipes replaced and new pipes fitted around the fuel filter and to the injection pump but the air continues to get in after sitting overnight.

Any suggestions?

Cheers.

Highest point in the fuel system is the fuel filter lid, common for them to leak air into system there with no sign of fuel leak.

Anywhere lower than that show as a slight fuel leak and overnight will let the fuel run back into tank.

I think I've solved the problem. The water drain plug at the bottom of the fuel filter casing was leaking. It only showed up the problem when I manually primed the hand pump and fuel started to come out of the valve. I've fitted a rubber washer and it now starts every morning without issue.

Thanks for the help anyway.
