On my way across town yesterday afternoon I was in the thick of homebound commuter traffic. Added to the mix were a few commercial vehicles, including a yellow Vito.
Our man in this van, was impatient; across three lanes he would duck, weave and do the "last second dive" ahead of someone as they slowed for a red light. After a good few miles, he'd lit enough fuses of those around him.
By one of those beautiful little efforts of anonymous teamwork, he was steadily thwarted in each attempt to change lanes, by a variety of drivers until we approached a certain set of lights... The peloton all sped up, then pulled neatly into the inner two lanes and stopped at the line. Yellow Van Man raced triumphantly past, through the red, through the speed camera. Flash-flash! He popped a third of his licence for the sake of his driving style.
The sweetest part of this, was watching him do the "Oh no, I'm nicked" manoevre most people do when the camera goes off, and brake heavily... illyme:
It's not often the traffic flow works as a team, but I reckon this effort put a smile on quite a few faces yesterday. Made a change from the "best reaction time" traffic light drags.

It reminds me last year i was sitting at the end of my close waiting to pull out of the junction when a tw@t in an Alfa came down road about 65-70 in a 30 flying round a bend and out of sight. There was loads of school kids about and i muttered what a moron hope he gets nicked one day. Well I pulled out and and went round the bend onto the short straight and there was the alfa stopped in the middle of the road with a copper standing in front with a speed gun. Oh how I laughed alfa man looked a bit sick though.
Are we there yet?????

I've noticed, if I drive the Xantia estate at the same speed as I drive the Alfa, people are more aggressive (ie, tailgating) towards the Xantia. Suspect it's because the car pitches less on the road, giving an impression of being slower. Maybe the C15 was the same for you?
