1.4 ?????

Hi, Wigan based Newbie hear. I have just been looking at 1.4 petrol 06 Berlingo 43k on the clock. Normal use would be 1 adult 20 mile commute to work or 2 adults and two Spaniels weekend to the caravan which involes a 50mile motorway blast. I'm a bit unsure because I read and have been told they are underpowered ? comments please

I wouldn't say they're underpowered, definitely not rockets though. It's a light engine which helps weight distribution and also sounds nice when pedalled. The 1.6 16V would be a superior driveline, but they're not so common.
