That's great! Where did you get the bull bar and how much was it?

stobarts have a peugeot partner van that collects pod's (proof of deliveries) from different depots every night.

12 months old. 120000 on the clock.

the driver Mark starts at 12 pm and does a 12 hour shift and covers 500 or more miles a night!

side bars were £100 from a place in derbyshire, fitted last sept, the bull-bar was £120 but it's gone up now,

mines been on for 2 winters and 100k miles, still looks well,it's not been polished since last summer
both items are straight bolt on,no drilling,I would'nt have bothered if it meant that,I got a rear facing stainless roof light bar with 5x5 red led light units in it,got to drill the roof though so it's on hold at the min, trying the idea of using the rear most roof bar bracket as a mounting point,I'll see what happens, some extra lights on the front bar as well,I do a fair but of night driving out in the sticks delivering bearings to quarries, berlingo lights are a bit crap standard,I've upgraded bulbs but even at the steady speed I drive at it's a struggle sometimes.

I got her in April 14,with 38k on,1 owner with history, still has the same rear shoes etc he had new ones at 28k their still on now at 180k :-),oil and filter every 8k without fail, fuel filter every 2 oil changes, all front suspension is as i got it,nothing changed, front discs and pads did me to 170k,2 cambelt kits, same turbo, runs sweet and I've recorded every brim to brim tankful since i got her, present running average is 56.8mpg for 140k miles, sits at 2250 rpm for hours on end, equates to about 58/59mph so I'm usually eventually nestled behind the fastest Irish/Scottish truck going my way, hammering a van to knock half an hour off a 3hr journey is false economy to me..got the customary leaky heater rad but hardly lost a cupfull in a month so chucked a bottle of K-seal in last coolant change, about 25k ago,no curry smell now so will be left alone as long as poss.. Cool
oh,gearbox is sweet, still the same clutch,

Mines on 122k, I've had it since 59k. In that time, since Nov 2010 it's cost me approx £1000 in repairs and tyres, which at £200 a year I don't think is bad at all. It gets used and abused as a family car and we have a 6 year old son so it's had all the baby related abuse and junk in it.

Rather than fit lamps to the bull bar. Have you thought about fitting one of the led light bars that off road er use, under a roof bar. That's what I'm going to do, and a small one at the rear to give extra light when reversing as the tints on mine block all view at night

Thanks for the bull bar info. I like that a lot.

I've got Osram Nightbreakers (from amazon , £14 a pair) in both my Berlingo and C1. They make the lights pretty good. I do 15 miles each way on unlit roads to work. They're not far off as good as the xenons in my C4.
