Black out / Tints for rear windows.

Of course, with tints, one has to be a bit circumspect when it comes to bedtime. It's dark outside, you climb into the MPV, the light comes on and you proceed to undress for bed. I'm pretty sure the tints work the other way around then. You can't see out, but everyone can see in Angry  Fortunately I'm too old to be vain, or even bothered  Tongue

Indeedie, a light on inside at night will allow folks to see in.....You still need curtains

I just bought the correct, discreet curtain rails....Tad more expensive than anticipated !

Not sure I'll bother with curtains. Too much faffing fitting them, and arranging securing the lower edge, so it doesn't encroach on the limited space. And I don't know anyone with a sewing machine. And I'm too tight to pay a commercial place to make them up for me. I do have a huge black table cloth I don't need though Confused

I don't "do" big camp sites, mostly wild camping in the woods with club mates, or at steam rallies etc. I'll just get undressed in the dark !!
Regards to all,

Anyone done a DIY tint recently on an M59? Any recommendations about where to (or where not to) buy the film? What shade should I go for?
I'm thinking about doing the 2 rear side windows myself and perhaps getting the tailgate done professionally.

Thanks
