Interim service price
#21
My mk2 has 36000 on the clock & airflow through the cabin filter is good @50mph without fan on.My question is therefore, why change @ 10000 when 20000 would be soon enough if you're picky?

£85 to change the oil and filter? I reckon you've been diddled.

The point of the argument Ron, is that an interim service SHOULD involve replacing the pollen filter. No one was suggesting wether or not it was actually dirty or blocked.

If it had the pollen filter fitted the interim service would of been £115 i thought i had a good deal at £85 then it was pointed out to they had not done the pollen filter. so its bad from a main dealer with them checking the car over thanks to Lighty pointing out about the pollen filter i will not use them again

Thanks for your thoughts with which I agree. The garage I use, although very good, changed my fuel & air filters at 24,000m.As they were not due 'till 36k & I had checked the air filter,I refused to pay for them.
they let me keep them & as I had already bought all filters for 30k change that will now be 48k.:thumbsup:Confusedcratch:
