Headlights.

Hi guys, I need to replace the headlights on my 2000 reg 1.9D because the internal adjustment mechanism has broken. Has anyone any experience using aftermarket ones from Europarts?

I'd also be interested in people's experiences/preferences of normal bulbs v halogen v multi LED within which there is noe developing a colour variance option too !!! Are the high density LED units worth it nowadays ?

Just put some osram nightbreaker h4 bulbs in place of what you have now and you will see a big difference.
Are we there yet????? Huh

Before you splash the cash make sure that the new bulbs are MoT compliant as there are rules in place about non-original replacements. Some don't focus the beam correctly, others are coloured and they both may well fail the test.

I think the key here is getting a new unit not new bulbs  Angel

Try a scrap yard for price maybe ?

G1nganinja probably best to start a new topic for your question otherwise things get messy

The problem with getting parts for a 17 year old car from a breakers is that the internal plastic parts will have gone brittle as mine had, I got a pair from ECP and they fit perfect and all I had to do was put the electronic level adjuster from my old lights into the new ones. The good bit was that I got a 30% online voucher so only paid £80 for the pair. All sorted now and a new MOT in my wallet. Thanks all.

Now try some lovely Osram Nightbreaker Laser bulbs like I've just got. They great, especially together with decent LED sidelight bulbs.

What sides did you choose to go with your Osram's??
