Sliding door won't latch in open position.
#3
I had some trouble with mine, the catch release button inside and the handle on the outside wouldnt release the catch. Took the door panel off and found the problem is in the rather large and complicated mechanism. It seems as if a part at the back is not engaging sometimes. With some pulling about, prodding and a lil swearing and a dab of luck it works but occasionally slips out again. Problem is the mechanism appears to be pop riveted to the door. Does anyone know how to get it off without resorting to a drill? Confusedcratch:
