Get a replacement remote key body and swap all the bits over including the chip either get new blade from the new fob cut or put your blade in. There are companies that will rebuild your old fob if the buttons are knackered or find an auto locksmith near you and take the parts to them and they will sort it out for you. Don't let them come to you as you will be charged a call out fee.
Are we there yet?????
