Week before Christmas my drivers side (Electric) window started acting itself.
It wouldn't Auto open/close at all, It would open holding the button down no problem but when you held the switch up to close the window would only travel an inch then stop. To close it fully you had to keep clicking the switch to inch the window up.
So tonight in my wisdom I decided to pull the centre column to bits to try swapping the switches over with the passenger side (Still works correctly) to rule out a knackered switch. Both switches work on the passenger window no problem, The drivers window now doesn't move at all!!
The drivers window did work with its fault before I swapped the switches but now its completely dead and won't do anything.
Tried wiggling wires and the switch still lights up when its plugged in but the window has no movement.
Im guessing the next step to pull the door card off and check there's still power going to the motor but I've no Idea how that comes off. Do you have to take the door handle off first?
Any thoughts on what to do next would be appreciated.
