Radio aux lead
#1
Interested in fitting a aux lead to my berlingo so I can plug my phone in and listen to my own music. But how easy are they to do on the standard radio? Is it just a case of pull the radio out and plug in or not? Anyone tried it?

Cheers George

If you have standard radio I think there is a lead to swop for aux input. The sure way is to fit aftermarket single din unit with a aux front socket.
Try these guys they sorted mine & are brilliant in there're field :

There are aftermarket leads which utilize the CD changer socket of back of original stereo.

Need to be activate CD changer through Lexia/PP if this hasn't already been done.

Depends on which stock headunit (clarion rd4, rt3, etc.) you got.

If I remember correctly VDO or other manufacturer made some earlier versions.

Check which stereo you got, then check on the bay for "berlingo aux in", "rd4 aux cable" or similar.

Don't forget CD changer will need activating through lexia, etc.

Otherwise fit a new headunit with USB, 3,5mm, Bluetooth or a combination of those. Shouldn't set you back more than 50 quid whilst cable/activation won't be for free.
