Fire Extinguishers

ive never seen the point of mounting a fire extinguisher where you cant reach it when youre stuck in the drivers seat.....even if you only use it to blast the ugly mug trying to get in through the window.

Legal requirement to have one for taxi / PH.

Mine is located on side panel behind rear seat in boot area ( drivers side ), fits a treat.
Years ago, a fireman ( sorry, firefighter ) told me never to attempt to put out an engine bay fire myself- always get everyone safely out the vehicle and phone 999.

I had mine in the same location as yours. Took it for the taxi test and failed! They said it would be in accessible if there was luggage, I've now got it located in the passenger compartment in front of the storage box at the front seats.
East Renfrewshire council are not the easiest when it comes to test time.
