Did you use a good branded clutch & fork?

Hi ,
I've seen  two examples where the shaft that carries the clutch  release bearing seizing up in the bush at the bottom of the bell housing, usually grit and dirt getting in through the rubber plug, it stops the release bearing from clearing the clutch pressure plate properly  and wearing the fingers away and jamming  into the hole it had made.  One of the two needed a complete clutch assy. and the other had a  clutch pedal which would not return. It was saved by a timely injection of oil into the bush and is still running

Same here ..... anyway just a reminder for all those with the plastic bush set up to lube it from time to time with oil. Don't worry about clutch contamination as this won't happen, what will happen is the oil will eventually reach the bottom bush as well which is good news.
