Waterless coolant
#1
In the latest series of Wheeler Dealers, (unmissable TV, Ed China is an automotive God) they were working on a Triumph TR6 (the last of the real Triumphs, the TR7 doesn't count, believe me, I had one!).
The cooling system on said vehicle is not the best in the world (like the Stag, etc.) and the solution was waterless coolant.
Anyone heard of it, used it, got an opinion of it?
Sounds interesting stuff.
Imagine, no more rusty internals.
How good would that be...
Do modern vehicles use it as standard?
If not, why not?

If at first you don't succeed, destroy all evidence that you tried.

Recomended though for Early water cooled MX/enduro bikes like my Husqvarna, as standaed water/antifreeze mix eats away the magnesium alloy engine cases and that is a pricy fix?. Only 2 litres at most in the system so a bit cheaper. The other answer is to make up your cooling mix with De-min water that helps to reduce corrosion and sludge build up, cheaper option for me as I work in a power station.

Know it's expensive.
But lasts a lifetime. Supposedly?
Didn't realise the 'big man' worked for them, nothing on their website.
Just big claims...
Another expensive too good to be true product, then? Confusedcratch:
