Server Move - 3rd Oct 10
#1
Hello everyone,

We are now at our PERMANENT home, for the short to medium term future: Host Gator.

I thought i should tell you before you all start getting fed up and leaving Berlingo Forums.

I am trying my best, and i have parted with some $ for once, but i think it is what needs to be done. What i can say with certainty is that we will be up 99.9%, and we will be secure (won't just disappear).

Further, we may have lost one or two posts during this move. I made a back up of the site as late as possible, but you never know! If you find you post isn't there, you know why. Please post it again.

So yeh, a sorry and a thanks rolled in there.

See you around. Smile

Thank you.

The server we were on before was a good one, but it was new and it got quite a lot of coverage in a couple of days and basically could not handle all that data, so i jumped ship Tongue

Can you do anything about the forum clock, Andre. At moment its 11hrs ahead of us, which puts this forum in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea! Big Grin

Hi Open,

If you are talking about the time that is next to everything (i.e Threads, posts etc?) Shown Below.

If you are, then it is an issue with your own profile.

To correct please go to the top right corner, 'User CP', click 'User CP' from the pop up menu, then click 'Edit Options' from the left hand menu, and you should be able to edit your time options.

Thanks.

Fixed?

P.S Does the 'Q' button at the bottom of every post not work for you? Or is it just me!

The Q button does nothing for me, What is it supposed to do?

Its supposed to do a quick quote, so you can quickly quote someone and use the quick reply box at the bottom of each thread. Ill get it fixed when i get some time, shouldnt be a biggie, but its a nice feature to have.

The difference between Q and Quote buttons is that the Quote button takes you to the 'full reply' page, the Q lets you reply quickly.
