Engine change

It should go in without too much hassle, lower engine mount would probably need swapping on subframe and maybe gearbox mount but you would use the ones that the donor car used and put them on your subframe.

Dont know about the ECU issue though, you may have a problem there.
There is probably a way around it but I would not know it, I prefer mechanical diesels.
