2009 1.6 Hdi Berlingo (Intercooler Query)

Just getting back to this now. The van is all back together now and runs great, everything seems fine apart from that that wee noise that runs for about 2 minutes after the engine is switched off.

This wasn't there before I took it apart and the only thing that is different now is that I managed to let the gas out of the air conditioning system when I was working on the van. Would this cause the problem?? And if the air conditioning system wasn't recharged could this cause any other issues??
