Turbo boost sensor replacement

After the engine management light came on my Citroen dealer is to replace the turbo boost sensor. Citroen seem to have few on order so seems to be a common fault, it is also on back order so may be a while. Anyone experienced this. Ok to drive they say.

Car will be in limp mode. You can drive it , no problem.
