manual 2001 Multispace
#1
HI,

I just got myself a Berlingo Multispace X reg 1.8 petrol, bright red, with a lovely sunroof.....for work, you understand Dodgy
It came from a not so nice car dealer and I am left with having to sort out an assortment of bits to make Bertois (named by friends, not my choice) perfect for my gardening business (you can put the contents of a large hedge trimming in the back you know!)
Being a woman, I need to have an instruction book, but I can't find a manual anywhere Need the fuse schedule as the cigarette lighter and indoor lights are not working, and I might have to replace lock barrels......among other things.

Does anyone know where to get a manual for this model? Haynes doesn't cover the 1.8 petrol (why not?)

Thanking you kindly Smile

You should be able to download something that will help, google 'citroen berlingo handbook download' or similar.
Handbooks are often found on eBay, and welcome to the site by the way.

You could try one of these manuals http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/CITROEN-BERLIN...2c9d29ad16
When I had a Renault kangoo many years ago this was the only manual I could get and they cover most servicing and repair work,
Are we there yet????? Huh
Ex 1.6hdi van now 3 seater 1.4 multispace

I did do my own search for my particular model but only the Haynes manual, which doesn't cover the 1.8 petrol motor. This link seems to have the right models and years on it although the pic of the manual states 'diesel' and the title on the listing 'petrol' models. I've sent the vendor a question about it and hopefully it covers the petrol models!

Fingers crossed.

Welcome to the forum Astrid,

The !.8 petrol model is not so common as the diesels.  Apart from the engines the rest of the same model berlingos are more or less the same , ie bodywork and brakes etc, with some variations and they cover both petrol and diesel but I doubt if they cover the 1.8 engines.

 Happy berlingoing . Wink

CoolHi.I have a 2002 Multispace of the Diesel variety.Very useful but oh so dull.Ive owned mine for 6 years and have to say have not had any serious problems [ yet ] I'm a small builder and carry blocks, plasterboard, sand etc in mine then i take the dog out in it and at weekends do the shopping and even take mother in law out for weekend jaunts, what a good boy ! anyway i have the original handbook and can email the fuse page if it helps. I like you have had to replace the door locks, they are oh so cheap on ebay, and very simples to fit,you dont even need to take the door cards off ,the lock barrels can be fitted in about 3 minuets a door.Ive grown to love my citroen over the years and have now got rid of my SLK merc, the citroens more comphy and a lot more reasonable to run I can even put up with its dullness and lack of any real go.Still one cant have it all can one!
