Airbox etc loose

When I did mine the stud that also holds the EGR cooler came out quite easily. If you disconnect the EGR pipe at the inlet manifold end you get an extra bit of flex if needed so that you can get the new bracket between the cooler and the engine.
Pliers on the end of the stud has to be the easiest answer, however if you need to move the EGR cooler out of the way disconnect the manifold end and also remove the EGR valve from the head. You shouldn't need to disconnect the coolant pipes as I imagine there is enough movement. You can split the EGR pipe where it meets the EGR valve and leave the EGR in situe, but the spring clip is a bit of a pain to re-fasten, (but not impossible with a pair of pliers) and it is quite easy to remove the EGR valve.

The bracket is ebay item number 181127401341.

I had the same issue, in the end I just got the bracket (new metal one) from a main dealer and got my local garage to fit it. I did try but got the old one off and got stuck by the heat exchanger.
The old plastic one had snapped and also lost a rubber grommet. I snapped it a bit more getting it off aswell - oooooops.

Fixed mine with some gaffer tape which I bonded with glue to the air filter housing. And superglue the rubber mouldings on the housing so rattles no more. Tho I'm not sure if I ever need me air filter replacing they will be able to do it.   Undecided
