When I did mine the stud that also holds the EGR cooler came out quite easily. If you disconnect the EGR pipe at the inlet manifold end you get an extra bit of flex if needed so that you can get the new bracket between the cooler and the engine.
Pliers on the end of the stud has to be the easiest answer, however if you need to move the EGR cooler out of the way disconnect the manifold end and also remove the EGR valve from the head. You shouldn't need to disconnect the coolant pipes as I imagine there is enough movement. You can split the EGR pipe where it meets the EGR valve and leave the EGR in situe, but the spring clip is a bit of a pain to re-fasten, (but not impossible with a pair of pliers) and it is quite easy to remove the EGR valve.
The bracket is ebay item number 181127401341.
