Upgrading my sound system mk2

Guys, I'm very new to sound system and wanted to slightly upgrade my stsem to a component kind.

Recently bought this Headunit.

Was wondering if there's any bros kind enough to guide me on what else is needed? Gonna DIY my system. My main concern is to just upgrade it abit with less cost involve and reliable.

Not sure what else is needed in terms of specs?
1) Component Speakers/tweeters
2) AMP
3) 10" Woofer

Disconnect the battery unless you want to risk damage.

I never even though about it till my Lingo wouldn't start in the Halfords CarPark. Luckily just a fuse in my case.

After reading the forum I could have actually caused some serious problems with the ECU!

If you search the forum a couple of blokes have done decent builds.

If you look at my posting history (I think you can do that) you will see Iposted on one such thread.
