Front door rattle

I thought it was just my car after a few weeks of the rattle driving me mad I took the door panel off and fix the problem

Just one comment about the glued in weather shield.
The best way I've found to deal with this is to use a very sharp knife, lay it flat against the metal and cut through the glue with that.
Trying to pull on the glue will tear the flimsy film apart.

That's on my 1999 1.4i, though.
(I was replacing the passenger-side wing mirror, and also adding 30mm thick insulating foam in the door)

Can somebody who has experience provide a similar breakdown for removal of the door trim to the side sliding door on a 2010 B9 Multispace. I have a very annoying rattle!! Thanks
