New bumpers! hooray!!
#1
After umming and arring over the price of bumpers, I finally put my hand in my pocket and bought some new ones.

I like my van tidy, in fact, I'm pretty anal about it, I spend a lot of time in it and like it just right.

I've been contemplating getting new ones for over a year, the back one was looking tired and had quite a few minor marks on it, they were there when I bought it, plus one rather large scrape on the side that I did around 18 months ago.

The front one was in pretty good shape apart from a few minor scrapes that were hardly noticeable, again, from previous owners, however I've always wanted the lower half painted, like what the multispace is.

A friend who owes me a favour painted the front bumper for free!!

There's no pictures of the back bumper, I fitted that last week and totally forgot about taking some.

Anyway, I'll let the pictures do the talking

Now that be spiff to da max. I'm impressed. How difficult is it to take the bumper off?? I want to change the horn on mine and will probably need to remove at least part of the front to get to it?

it's a bit fiddly, really you should jack up the front end and take the front wheels off to make it easier, you'll need to take the screenwash bottle out to get access to a bolt on the drivers side, it's not that difficult though.

Six 13mm bolts and 6 torx screws.

Yes, Philip, chunky, aren't they? Big Grin

About 3 months ago, I painted the towing eye black as it was showing a bit of rust, wanted it to blend in with the bumper, painted it back to white again today, lol :brickwall:
