Hi. Does anyone know which models and years have the £30 road tax? Been looking but found nothing.
Cheers

EURO 6 engines are all at this road tax rate currently and exempt from congestion charge and are allowed green zone entry. Should officially only be 1st September 2016 registrations onward. I'd make sure of any ebay claims anyway by checking the DVLA website using the vehicle details.

Ok for clarity, Euro 5 vans (mine is one) are £140 per year, and any light van older than 1/9/2016 is Euro 5 (or Euro 4 before that etc etc).

After that date, much cheapness...but remember LCV (van) tax bands are not the same as cars, i.e. cars' VED depends on specific vehicle  emission levels, but vans' VED depends on engine size and year of manufacture.

To check a car, you have to look up it's exact  VED entry. LCV vehicles are more broadly banded as the engines fall into Euro 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 categories.

That's interesting. I got my 2013 enterprise a couple of days ago and the lad who sold it to me said it was £150 per annum for road tax. The boss taxed it online while I was doing the deal and later on that evening she said it was £250 or so. Am I missing something?

You know what, I just checked and weirdly my Audi A3 tdi which was a 2010 (Euro5) was £143 per year and for the van (2012) they are charging me £273 per year by DD monthly (they do add a small charge for monthly) - the info online I read said £140.

I'm going to challenge this. Looks like we are both being over charged. See the table below and check online, everything says Euro5 = £140 VED and even says Euro5 on my V5 I'm sure.

Fuel type Registration date Euro standard Tax rate 2020-21
Electric From 01 Mar 2001 N/A £0
Diesel, Petrol, LPG From 01 Mar 2001 All except below £265
Diesel, Petrol, LPG 01 Jan 2009 to 31 Dec 2010 Euro 5 £140
Diesel, Petrol, LPG 01 Mar 2003 to 31 Dec 2006 Euro 4 £140

You're going on speed dial my friend and I'll need your address for Christmas cards.
The boss is currently on the same mission after I mentioned this post a few minutes ago.

My thoughts as well.  Wife's dog van is a 2013 Enterprise 625 1.6HDi and the tax is £265 pa.  Emissions shown on the V5 are 133 g/km.  Zion/Mrwilson, what are your emissions showing as on the V5?

My Multispace is £30 pa.
