Hi,
Does anyone know why my airbag warning light would come on after passing a MOT.
I have a 2002 berlingo M59 1.6 16v.
I would be most grateful for any help.
Squad.

Could be the seat wiring to the SRS squabs on the seatbelt female part. If the mot tester was tall and racked the seat back...could have pulled a plug apart.

SRS systems are picky. You're only talking 3 ohms per circuit in a good factory airbag or SRS squab.

I cut the connectors off on mine and replaced them with choc blocks, a bit awkward to get to and you need to make a note of the colours but I did it 10 years ago and not had a problem since

My airbag light comes on when I start to drive and beeps twice even though I don't think I have a passenger airbag.
Tried cleaning and re seating the connectors, may try changjng them to choc blocks as you have Peter.
Does anyone know where the green and yellow/brown wires go to when they go under the seat through a hole in the floor? Is it the central console or up to the steering column/dash board area?
