idling speed

what is the idling speed of your van ? mine seems to be running very fast, 1000RMP..

Just a shade over 1000 for me and has been for over 2 years :thumbsup:

800rpm idle factory setting in fact that seems to be the same on alot of modern diesels

2.0 hdi = 800rpm

Mine Starts at 1000 then after 5 mins drops to 800

This is mine cold.
Although pretty much the same when warm.
1,ooo rpm when upto temperature seems a little high.

Checked this afternoon and it is pretty much the same when up to temperature.

Hello there!

This is my first post!

My van used to idle around 900-1000rpm when i first had it but slowed it down to 800.

But ive always noticed before and after the revs would be lower when starting cold but would raise when warmer

Does anyone know why?
