[Engine] Right hand engine mount
#1
I have today tried to replace the right hand mount (the one on the driver's side) I removed the throttle bracket (2 bolts) then the large hex rubber headed nut, then the nut on the upper end of the mount. I then tried removing the upper bracket, starting with the 2 T45 bolts (engine jacked up). I could not get the bracket to release, suggesting it is fixed elsewhere. Haynes is not much use. Advice from anyone appreciated. Another problem I foresee - is there a nut on the bottom end of the mount? If so, how is it accessed? 2005 Multispace Desire 2.0 HDi (M59)

Haynes misguides say 3 bolts securing the upper bracket to the lower one.
Maybe you've missd one ?

Thanks for the comment. That's what I thought, but I couldn't see anything. There is a bolt head just below the upper/lower bracket joint but it seems to be holding the plastic cover for the cambelt. I loosened it but the bracket didn't free up any.
Anyone else care to comment? Otherwise I will have to take it all apart again and have another look. Perhaps I will wait until it's not raining and dark and miserable and .......... November!

mike I just did a google images search, there are quite a few images there, maybe looking at them would help?

Good suggestion. I had a good look and found a pic of the actual mount, but only as a spare part, not in situ. I'll get it off eventually! Thanks for the tip - I will keep looking.
