DIESEL MISSFIRE ???

HI , MY 2005 2.0 HDI BERLINGO HAS STARTED TO WHAT FEELS LIKE A MISS FIRE @1500 - 1750 RPM , ANY IDEAS WHAT THE PROBLEM COULD BE ?

I HAVE NOT HAD IT PLUGGED IN TO A READER YET ! I HAVE HAD THE TOP COVER OFF AND THE CRANK POSITION SENSER LOOKS DAMAGED AS IT HELD TOGETHER WITH A CABLE TIE !

Try that then, seeing as thats what jumps out at you, and lose the caps lock, there's a good chap

i had this,check the seal in the top of the fuel filter if its the siemens,if its a poor seal it will draw in air and thus misfire.you can see the air in the pipes as you rev the engine.hope this helps

I brought a fault code reader and it shows no faults , I changed the camshaft and crankshaft sensors , I have left it running and kept an eye on the clear diesel pipes to see if any air is being drawn in , but nothing ! I took it out for a drive and its still missing at 1500 -1750 rpm ! Not happy !!!!!

Mine did the same. My Kia Sedona does it too.

I have ordered a tuning box from tdi tuning and a new fuel filter , just to see if that might help !:brickwall:

up date on running problem ! Got my tuning box , went to fit it and it would not work , so i rang the helpful people at tdi tuning and after some pictures and a chat with on of their engineers it turned out that the bosch plate on the common rail is only there because people like bosch not seimans ??? so new loom is on its way !!
