Same here.
I'm not sure if the split (van type) doors were available on the Multispace but they seem like a much better solution to getting into the back of the car. The huge tailgate is brilliant as a rain shelter but trying to open it when someone has parked less than a meter from your bumper makes it a pain, and that's before it drops, nearly decapitating the unfortunate one trying to get something out of the boot.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

The 1.6 I'm picking up on Sunday has paint-wear to both interior front door handles and to the colour coded gear knob. The gear knob I can understand as it's suffering repetitive hand-friction throughout each journey. But we never had any problems with our old 05 plate so far as paint wearing on the interior door grabs. I can only assume the previous owners had rings on their fingers (and bells on their toes?). A friend of mine has had a couple of new Ford Galaxies and I noticed that both models had interior door handle paint wear within the first year.
I reckon manufacturers do this to assist in the general feeling one gets of the vehicle becoming tired and thereby needing replacing - otherwise that paint would be colour-moulded plastic.
