I intend to be a Berlingo owner, so I hope you don't mind a current fiat punto owner crashing your site.

I'm hoping to buy a second hand one - 7 seats - they seem to be lie gold dust, however, so it may take a while.

Any advice on what to get and what not to get? I'm used to a very small car and am a little nervous about driving something bigger, but the Berlingo seemed to offer the internal volume without being a tank like some of the 7 seat people movers.

Anyway - Ill look forward to reading down your threads.

Hi Alison,I had many uno's,then a C15 van(not much bigger than an Uno).I bought my Berlingo in2007 & haven't looked back.I would recommend a diesel as they are so economical.Pyrenees & back on less than 3 tanksful (av 52 MPG & 60 MPH),& comfy with it.Good luck with your new Berlingo.

Hi Alison and welcome to the forum. I am very interested in the 7 seater as well, but from another point of view, in some ways a downsize from my wife's Volvo XC90 but would ideally want an automatic. Not sure if that is going to happen any time soon though. good luck with the search.
