That was a good video, the radio is the same as i have which Halfords supplied and fitted. Amazingly the fitting was only £30.00!!
The video did show up one thing for me and that is the clock and still be set, mine does not so that will be a trip back to get that particular things put right.

The Connects-2 kit I mentioned to you in another thread, isn't part of the supplied kit with a Kenwood - Connects-2 are a separate company. So unless the C2 kit is an added extra in the deal you got from Halfrauds, it won't be fitted at all so the button presses I also mentioned to get the menu's up on the dash display, won't be available.

I don't think I've ever seen C2 hardware in Halfrauds, but may be wrong. You can buy the kit online for about £90 but the one with the fitting kit (cage & trim) is likely more than that.

EDIT: Just checked, Halfords are not an authorised stockist. Best option is Dynamic Sounds.

Here is the most likely kit, but there are hundreds of models depending on vehicle and stereo combination (the adaptor has to speak the canbus version your car understands and send the correct canbus control messages)

Thanks for the link, i have made an appointment with Halfrauds for tomorrow, i will play the "you told me everything would work" line and see what they say.  All the radio controls on the stalk work.

Nice one - they deserve to be taken to task. They take folk to the cleaners every day. Name one other car accessory shop....nope....and they know that.
