Berlingo towbar relay - live feed? where?
#1
Hey folks,

Looking for someone to pull me out the ****.... I am trying to wire in my towbar relay I have done the rear wiring just need to provide a feed for it but I pulled apart the glovebox to get into the fuse box and it just looks so messy.. I'M LOST!

Can someone tell me what to look for or where I can wire it into?

Thanks,
Martin

First of all, do you have this plug behind the rear passenger side panel in the boot - the one marked No1
This is a permanent 'live' when a 40amp maxi fuse is put in to the fuse box in the engine compartment

Here is where the 40amp Maxi fuse goes in the engine compartment fuse box - you have to lift up the top section of the fuse box to reveal the Maxi Fuses underneath

If you don't have the cable and plug called No1 in the first picture, you can tap in to the glove compartment fuse box by using the spare plug shown below (ringed in red)
You will still need to add the 40amp Maxi Fuse to the engine compartment fuse box for this to become permanent live

It will have a single thick white cable going in to it
In the last picture, it appears that there is a small green one as well, but this goes somewhere else, it just looks like it is going to the same plug as the thick white one
