sun roof

Hello everyone, 

Joined last week having put down a deposit on a new Multispace XTR, to collect tomorrow.  

We wanted a simple manual sun roof like the one the dealer installed in our pre-08 'Lingo, but our salesman said he'd have to check on the price and when I rang yesterday still couldn't tell me.  So I phoned a sun roof company to be told that a manual sun roof costs £295 - but it will not fit current 'Lingo's 'cos of the overhead shelf (although the pre-'08 has one too) and roof curvature.  We'd have to buy an electric one @ £645!  
At that price we'd have gone for the Modutop.

Was perhaps a mistake to post my query in my Intro?  but 59 views and not a single reply!  So has anyone run across this?

Hi

I can only remember one person here who fitted an opening sunroof to a Berlingo and that was a while back. It may have been a van and I think it was fitted in the rear section of the roof. Sadly I cannot find the thread at he moment.
