Raise suspension on berlingo 2
#11
The third Berlingo B3 is different from the rest, it's the first to use rear shock spring instead of torsion bars. I mean the correct way is to do it properly and buy longer springs based on kg/lbs rating but good luck with that as nobody ever advertises those properties. I suspect guido doesn't want to spend money either so that's probably out of the window. I mean there is a ghetto way to stiffen the suspension but it won't exactly raise it, just stop it from riding the bump stops while still giving the shock movement.

I personally have not tried this method but it should theoretically raise it a little too and not just provide stiffness. The thing with our drift cars is either always cutting the springs or welding two stabilizer bars together to stop the roll. I haven't thought about going the other way for offroading heh. I'm running coilovers on my BMW and they are in that price range where the price you paid is good enough to provide a great stiff overall feeling, but not good enough for the manufacture to give away the spring rates. So finding individual part alternatives will always be a nightmare. This is why they are always sold as kits.

Picture two is classic as, I can honestly say here in Australia no one supports euro car suspension unless it's mainstream ....
Have tried local spring winders....
Have tried the yard where it came from new....
Would like airbags ... Cost is a factor, but cool is too......
