Right,I've just picked myself up off the floor (not an easy task at the moment with my new knee) and had a cup of sweet tea.
Barratts want £245 for servicing my XTR.That includes fully synthetic oil,a pollen filter and VAT.
Do you think they are charging me extra 'cos the steering wheel is on the left?
Yours Sincerely
Aghast,
Belgium.

Looking through the bill for my last service (main dealer) a couple of months ago;
Labour
"Level 2/full service" £136.00
Parts
Oil filter £11.22
Air filter £12.48
Spark plugs £26.12
Pollen filter £16.60
Oil £35.96
All in (inc vat) £286.06
At the same time I also had anti freeze changed, brake fluid changed, new brake shoes & cylinders, and centre section of exhaust replaced.
Total bill =
Since moved house to one with a garage and a workshop so I can do it myself from now.

If everything seems to be going well, you have obviously overlooked something.

How much does your Citroen garage in Belgium charge for a service XTR? I've often wondered if it would be cheaper to get a service when I'm in France. I go to Holland also, but I can't see them being very cheap somehow.

Anyone taken Citroen up on their recent 'special offers'?
Not been to a main (Renault) dealer for about 10 years.
No experience with Citroen, apart from £2+ for a sump plug washer.
(Something to do with the price of copper!)

My local Citroen garage(Colchester)is doing MOTs for £20 this month which is handy because mine is due for it's first one.

Suppose a proper Citroen service stamp is worth a few quid when it's time to sell.
