Driveshaft noise
#1
The cars started making a clicking clunky noise when I pull away and brake  at low speed. It sounds like a dodgy bearing. Has anyone any ideas what it could be?

Sounds like a CV joint. Is it worse when cornering?

nuts are tight and it seems ok when cornering its just when you pull away and stop

As Col said it could be the c.v. joint but check the cheaper alternatives first .

Brake pads loose in the calliper can give a clicking noise as they move about the calliper carrier when braking.

Suspension bushes worn can click/rattle when taking the strain of accelerating and braking.

Loose subframe bolts can also cause clicking , I think there's a post about it somewhere. Also engine mountings
