first got mine 6 months ago. did 400 to a tank. its a 54plate 2.0 hdi. with 96 on the clock.
serviced it and started using shell fuel.
did the bg244 trick. got 430 to a tank. changed all the tyres to dunlop efficient grip and now i get 500 miles to a tank.
and i drive it heavy footed. not alot of motorway. I reckon if i was to do i really long run.......get more mpg.
I also use air con alot.
thanks to alot of people on this forum, I am now a very happy berlingo owner!

I put £35 in my 1.4i Multispace.
Drive to Nuneaton and back at a steady 60mph, went to work a few times and have covered 308 miles and it's been used up.
I am actually a little surprised as I don't usually drive it on clear roads or overly gently.
It works out at over 40mpg.
Usually gives around 32mpg on a full tank in usual running rounds the Burbs of London.

I thought the thread was about the need to buy fuel and not fuel consumption
(It says fuel compulsion) We went to the seaside with the trailer tent on about 200 miles and the 2.0Hdi did it 0n £20 worth of fuel so I reckon at least 45 mpg on rural roads.
So where does this bit go then ?

Mines a 1.6 not a 2.0 but I comfortably get 450 to 500 miles on a full tank although I normally top up after 400 just in case.
