DRIVERS CHAIR
#1
Hi Chaps,
My chair is now very worn & beginning to get a little uncomfortable, the padding/foam has lost its 'ooomph' & beginning to sag, so time for a replacement, my Lingo is a first gen model ( 2002 ), & decent seats are now hard to find, does anyone know if the 2nd gen seats will fit - maybe with slight mods ? Any info appreciated.   Huh

Hi,
My first bingo was a Mk 1 and I suffered from exactly the same "sagging problem". Going from memory only ... so don't quote me in a court of law.... but I think the seat runners on a Mk1 both bolted onto the floorpan while on the Mk 2, one of the runners bolts on the floor while the other bolts to the side bodywork. What I had to do was pull the seat squab out from the Mk2 seat and fit into my old Mk1. A bit fiddly but will transfer across.
Regards, Les

I think the front seats in the older Berlingo's are basically the same as the Xantia and Xara. So even if the frames are different you can take the cushions off and swap them over.
