[Engine] Driving to programme ECU after new injector
#1
2014 Partner 1.6 HDI

I recently had an injector replaced and then noticed that the car was misfiring & knocking occasionally. This seems to have subsided.

I have read that some models need to be driven to 2600 > 1600 rpm so that the ECU can learn to new code parameters.

Is this true for 2014 Partner 1.6 HDI and could a lot of ordinary driving do the same?

I have a 2014 Citroen Multispace 1.6 airdream 90 diesel that still runs very well, but I've only done 47K. What's your mileage? I know very little about the mechanics of cars, but wonder if I will get injector problems, and if so, at what mileage?

I'm on 81K. Previously I had two Berlingos, both got to well over 100K without any injector failures.

Thanks for the reply. I hope I can get to that mileage without major problems, but as I'm now 80 I doubt it !  Big Grin
