Im sure they were - its just the brake parts are probably less grubby.


Bryce -how are you lifting the vehicle?
Is the trolley jack directly under the sill?
I havent rtfm properly but Im sure the blurb told me not to.
I adapted a wooden block to fit over the sill like the citroen jack ,then use my trolley jack under the block.

Got back from my sisters in somerset the other day with the block still in place (6hr round trip....ooops)
It is on my to do list.
But not right at the top

The front (outside) face of the discs didn't look too bad.
Took longer than I remembered to 'bed' in when replaced.
About 500 miles before trying to put me through the screen and 1000 miles before stopped squeaking, even with copper grease.
They are fine now.

The jack has a similar solution to the one you mention - I have a block of wood with a groove on top of the jack to connect to the jacking point.
