[Engine] noisy at idling

hi
i have a berlingo 2001, 1,9 d, all of a sudden it has started to drop speed when idling, or everytime i change gear, and a noisy sound is starting, it dissappear when speed is increased. and do not come when driving. Any help ?

Try taking the slack out of the throttle cable + some to increase the idle speed to spec.I am not familiar with the 1.9,but I think there is a thread on your problem.Good luck.

Does it happen at a certain times like if the engine is cold or when up to temp. Have a look on the site for a thread about the cold start cable and adjustment concerning your engine it has been covered recently.
Are we there yet????? Huh

it happens at all temp, so taken out the slack on wire wont help, must be some electric fault like less diesel in som kind of way, i use aab lexia dagnose, and pp2000, but even seems i have trouble reading ecu, so i am stuck atm
