I just washed the car so I thought I would do the obligatory photo and put it in here while it still looks nice and shiny. Big Grin

My niece liked the Citroen so much she wanted one but she bought a Partner instead. It's a Quicksilver and I'm having the roof bars off it when I get a pentagon key to fit them (ordered one already).

Careful trying to do undo the bolts....somewhere here I read that they can shear or the heads round off
and then refuse to budge. I think I'd buy a can of dismantling fluid beforehand!
This is probably one of the best things that Halfords sell!!

You can also still get Plus Gas which is way better than WD40.

I don't think you can compare Plus-Gas with WD40.P-G is a freeing agent only whereas WD40 is a multipurpose gunge. If I had to choose only 1,it would be WD40.

Big Grin Agreed Ron, but I've had cases where WD40 failed to 'unseize' a bolt after a number of hours soaking and Plus Gas did the job very quickly.
I wouldn't buy one or the other, I have both.
