[Steering & Suspension] Power Steering
#1
Hi All does anyone know how to remove the power steering pipe on a mk1.
Mine failed the other day and I am looking to replace it myself.

Thanks in advance.

There are several power steering lines. Which one has failed?

Also, which engine?

I changed the oil and filters the other day and looked at the pipes around the engine bay and they all look pretty obvious and easy to get at just a spanner on the unions and pull them off. Replace the pipe then top up the fluid and run the engine turning the wheel from lock to lock a few times then let it tick over for a few minutes and finally top up again.
So where does this bit go then ?
