New Owner requests Handbook details
#1
Hi folks. I'm Andy and I am now the owner of a 58 plate Berlingo 1.6 HDi VTR. Went looking for an estate as planning on camping around europe, quickly switched target to a zafira/touran style car and then when I saw one of these had to have it for the boxy space available. It's only a 75bhp version so driving is mundane but seems comfortable enough and the trillion storage pockets are already handy.

I have a few questions regarding tyres/oil/servicing as I did not get a handbook with the car. The following is what I have gleaned from searching the forum/net but I understand that recommendations change between years/models etc and am unsure if I have the correct info for an 08HDiVTR. Hopefully someone can confirm or offer their opinion. Particulary interested in the cambelt interval as car has done 60k and belt has not yet been changed.

Tyres- Unloaded 39PSI front 39PSI rear.
Tyres- Loaded 39PSI front 48PSI rear
I expect I'll find a diagram inside the car to confirm.

Oil- Always use 2/30w fully synthetic as there have been many turbo failures.

Minor service at 10000miles/1 year
Major service at 40000miles
Cambelt at 150000miles/10 years.

Cheers in advance for any help, Andy.

I've got the manual as .pdf files but it is all in German. Concerning the oil make absolutely sure that the oil you use meets the PSA B71 2290 specification. I change oil and filter every 5500-6000 miles. Much cheaper than a turbo replacement.
